Poem from Maria to Optimus Prime
Dear Father
How can it be that you are dead?
You who was going to live forever.
Never a diappointment that big. To hear you say goodbye.
That was what you were ment to say.
That was not how it was ment to be.
You were going to live forever.
You were the one to live us all.
You were not supposed to die.
You were the one to hold us tight when we needed you.
You were the one to give us hope in our darkest hour.
You were the one.
You were our best friend.
Why? Is the question.
Why were not there to see victory?
Why were you not there when my child were born?
Why were you not there to see him grow up?
Why were you not to survive?
Why did you have to die?
Why? We ask.
Teh answer is simple.
You would, but you could not.
The death laid his hand on your forehead,
took your soul out of your body
and breathed it into a sphere of light.
Cu's you are light.
You are love.
You are pride.
You are my father.
And that you will always be.
I will love you forever.
Your daughter Maria.
Composed by Elisabeth Hansen.
